The Richmond Hill Area Tennis Association announces the 2025 RHATA Scholarship Awards Program. Under the Program, two (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded to one male senior and one female senior attending Richmond Hill High School in Richmond Hill, GA.
Program Guidelines & Priorities:
* Seeking graduating seniors with a love of tennis who participated on Richmond Hill High School Tennis team with a solid academic standing and a record of volunteerism in the community.
* Applicants must have the endorsement of their tennis coach on their application attesting they are qualified for this scholarship program.
* Applications must be received by the Richmond Hill Area Tennis Association no later than Friday, April 4, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
* Applicants must plan to attend a two (2)-year community college or four (4)-year college or university.
* Scholarship funds will be paid upon proof of acceptance. If you have already received your acceptance letter, please attach it to your application and you will receive a check on May 12, 2025. If you receive your acceptance letter after April 4th but before May 12th, email a copy to richmondhilltennis@yahoo.com and you will receive a check on May 12th. If you have not yet received your acceptance by May 12th, email a copy ASAP and a check will be sent to you via mail.
Email your completed application package to: richmondhilltennis@yahoo.com. This includes application with signoff by Tennis Coach, Counselor, essay, and letter of recommendation.
The applications will be reviewed, and recipients selected by the Richmond Hill Area Tennis Association Scholarship Committee. The scholarships will be awarded on May 12, 2025 at Senior Honors Night at the High School. A formal invitation will be sent, and scholarship winners should plan to attend.
